Winter really is starting to set in here in Tasmania. It’s bitterly cold, the sun goes down at 4:30pm… but we havent had that much rain or snow for that matter.
The beauty of Liffey Falls is that it doesnt matter whether its running strong, or if its a trickle. It’s a place that has multiple personalities, and each of them is just as beautiful as the other.
I photographed Liffey Falls at around 4pm during the golden hour on the 23rd May 2024. Four individual 30 second exposures at f/22 were stacked to create this image. I hope you enjoy this photo, and that maybe it encourages you to take the easy family friendly walk to these beautiful falls.
